Phased Array Systems
The path to develop a phased array radar system begins with the design and analysis of antenna arrays. The benefits of phased array systems are excellent, but the addition of multiple transmit and receive channels can increase the complexity of the system. This includes advanced scenario modelling as well as more complex spatial signal processing and detection algorithms. Flexible system-level modelling, which can be used to design, measure, and evaluate radar systems, helps avoid catastrophic failures during the post-implementation development cycle. This session will discuss how to model and simulate multi-domain, multi-function radar systems covering RF to detection and waveform scheduling.
